Beat the eggs (2 whole and 2 only the red) with the 4 tablespoons of sugar (Photo 3) until you obtain a soft and non-liquid cream, then add the mascarpone a little at a time.
Prepare a bowl with four tablespoons of limoncello, a little water and 2 teaspoons of sugar and a squeeze of fresh lemon (Photo 4)

Quickly dip the ladyfingers in the syrup forming a layer which we will then cover with the mascarpone cream. (Photos 5 - 6)
We repeat for a second layer and cover with the cream.
Serve after leaving it for at least an hour in the fridge, completing it with grated lemon peel.
